Aquarium Outfitters has been in business since 1990. The owner, Kurt Lund, used his love and knowledge of all things fish, animals and plants, and opened a pet store to share his passion with the public. Prior to Aquarium Outfitters, he owned two stores in Raleigh- the first being in the late '70s. In March of 2020, Kurt stepped away and left his daughter-in-law, Jilian, in charge to continue running the business. 

Since then, the shop has been upgraded and continues to receive improvements. We offer a wide selection of freshwater fish and plants, saltwater fish, invertebrates, and coral, pond fish and supplies, and a wide variety of reptiles and supplies. We sell freshwater and saltwater for your tanks, live and frozen feeders for fish and reptiles, and offer water testing to help maintain your tank's health.
